The appellant seeks reversal of a decision made by the Iowa High School Athletic Association Board of Control finding him ineligible to participate in interscholastic athletics due to the eight semester limit.

The appellant completed six semesters of participation before dropping out of school in order to obtain extensive tutoring. He was aware of the eight semester rule at the time he chose to drop out.

He unsuccessfully attempted to claim that he had been improperly prejudiced by a rule which became effective one year before his discontinuance in school and of which he had actual notice in time to his eligibility.

The decision made by the Board of Control is affirmed.
