The appellant seeks to reverse a decision made by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Board of Control declaring her ineligible to participate in summer softball.

Because of a misunderstanding about graduating requirements and athletic eligibility, the appellant enrolled in two courses--and not the required three--during the spring semester. This made her ineligible to play summer softball. This requirement was listed in the student handbook the appellant received and admittedly had not read.

The appellant has not met the condition for interscholastic eligibility.

The decision made by the Board of Control is upheld.
