The appellants seek reversal of a decision made the Oelwein Community School District board to close an elementary school.

They argue the board did not follow previous reports and recommendations given to it, it is not practical to close a permanent building while temporary buildings remain in use at another site, the patrons will be faced with a bond issue in the near future to build a new school, and the education quality of the affected children will suffer.

There is nothing in the record to show the decision was made without reason or so clearly wrong that outside intervention is needed.

The local board's decision is upheld.
