The appellant seeks reversal of a decision made by the Cedar Rapids Community School District, and upheld by the Area Education Agency 10 board, regarding school bus transportation. His argument is that the route in question is dangerous enough the transportation should be provided for the sake of the children.

After reviewing the record, it is determined that the route including the one-block portion of 40th Street between the railroad tracks and First Avenue are inherently dangerous to K-6 students in their present condition.

The decision of the local board and the AEA Board are overruled.
