The appellant seeks reversal of a decision made by the Boone Community School District board--and upheld by the Area Education Agency 11 board--regarding school bus transportation for her son.

The district reviewed and changed its transportation policy so that students beyond a two-mile limit would not be provided transportation. There were exemptions made, and the appellant did not qualify.

The appellant was concerned about the 16th and Division Streets intersection relating to the safety of her child. It is determined that this intersection is not so inherently hazardous as to overrule the board's decision.

The decision of the local board and the AEA board are affirmed.
