Summary

The appellants seek reversal of a decision made by the Allison Bristow Community School District closing the junior high school in Allison and housing the students in Bristow. They contend the decision was arbitrary, capricious, not in the best interest of the district, made without adequate notice to the citizens, lacking in consideration of actual facilities, and the board refused to answer questions at the meetings.

The decision was made after a good deal of deliberation; the facts on record do not reflect insufficient notice to the public for response; it is not unreasonable for boards to deliberate and consider answers to two dozen questions requiring detailed answers.

There was not sufficient reason in the record to overturn the district's decision.

The local board's decision is upheld.
