The appellants seek reversal of a decision made by the New London Community School District board denying school credit for several classes because of excessive absences, in accordance with the district's attendance policy.

The appellant-student requested a waiver of the excessive absence policy due to extenuating circumstances, and the district administrators denied the request.

The student was aware of the policy and was warned by teachers that she was close to the limit. Although she achieved respectable grades, she did not heed the warnings and was not given credit for four classes.

The local board's decision is upheld.
