Appellant seeks reversal of a decision made by the Manilla Community School District board to expel her from school because of being truant.

The matter was brought before the board with the appellant absent; no written findings of fact we made, neither was there a written notice explaining how the board came to their decision.

It was determined that the district acted unreasonably and in violation of the appellant's right to due process in that it did not provide a verbatim transcript--or recording of the proceeding--and it did not provide written notice of the decision and the facts leading up to the decision.

The local board's decision is overruled.
