Full Text
Summary

The appellant seeks reversal of a decision made by a Child and Adult Care Food Program sponsor, Mid-Iowa Community Action, Inc. (MICA), terminating her participation from the program because she did not participate in the required number of training hours.

The sponsor is required to offer 7 training sessions about CACFP-related topics every federal fiscal year; the provider is required to attend a minimum of 1.5 hours of training.

MICA fulfilled its obligation to offer the training sessions; Ms. Al-Hameed did not fulfill her obligation by attending the required number of hours.

The CACFP sponsor's decision is correct.
