There are approximately nine regular education and ten special education students who attend the Boys and Girls Home of Graettinger and are not residents of Graettinger. They attend the Home for daytime classes and counseling only.

The District was told it must count the regular education students attending the Home per Code of Iowa 282.31(1)(b). Is this correct?

These students are not "living in" the Home and cannot be included in the basic enrollment of the District. They are attending the day program at the Home as non-residents and should be charged tuition
