The appellants seek reversal of a decision made by the Central Decatur Community School District denying their request for a special election about the construction of an auditorium for the new junior-senior high school building.

The district voters approved a bond issue to build a new jr-sr high school; an auditorium was planned but not part of the bid. After collecting donations, the AG's office advised that the funds couldn't be used without a special election. The board voted down this idea.

The local board's decision is affirmed.
