The appellants seek to reverse a decision made by the Clearfield Community School District board to send all the high school students to Lenox under a sharing agreement.

They are dissatisfied with the agreement to share with Lenox and would prefer students be allowed to choose Mt. Ayr, Lenox, or Diagonal. The appellants allege the decision was in violation of the open meetings law, that the board's decision to choose attendence centers was in violation of Iowa Code 280.3, and that the decision was made hastily without public input.

Appellants failed to provide sufficient evidence that the board's decision was not based on sound reasoning and not based on the needs of the students.

The local board's decision is affirmed.
