The appellants seek to reverse a decision made by the Council Bluffs Community School District to close five elementary schools.

At a board meeting of May 13, community members and board members shared their views of closing the five elementary schools; the board voted, and the item passed with an unanimous vote.

The process used by the superintendent and local board was in alignment with the Barker guidelines.

The decision of the local board is affirmed.
