The appellant seeks reversal of a decision made by the Burlington Community School District regarding the closure of a school building, Middletown Elementary.

It is concluded that the local board followed the Barker guidelines by establishing and announcing a timeline, appointed a task force to review the situation, involved the public by having some become members of the task force, and also having four board meetings at which the public could speak.

The local board's decision is affirmed.
